Ann & Guy hail from South Dakota but live in NYC. They didn’t get back together often and we weren’t able to do an engagement session, but that didn’t stop us from making incredible images together on their wedding day.
Their ceremony took place a the small church on the Augustana campus. Full to the brim with family and friends I loved the venue almost as much as I loved their service. Since they waited until the ceremony to see each other we did all of the portraits after at the church and at their reception site the Washington Pavilion.
With friends coming in from all of the world they chose to bring as much of South Dakota (their home state) into the ceremony as possible. With pheasant feathers, vintage postcards and found items each centerpiece gave the guests something to look through.
The speeches were amazing and the dances perfect. They finished off the night with a live band that flew in just for the evening!
